What is the difference between Canvas and Fine Art Paper? The biggest difference is that canvas can be framed without glass. Fine art paper requires glass for the framing. Both are UV resistant, and have vibrant colours with a matte finish. You can find more information about canvas v fine art print here.
-
What do I do with unframed artworks when they arrive? Please resist the urge to take your print order out of the packaging. Artworks are extremely delicate and need to be handled by a professional framer. Please drop the tube straight to your framer.
-
Does all your work come with a Certificate of Authenticity? All original artworks come hand signed on the back with a Certificate of Authenticity. Fine art and canvas prints are hand signed and numbered on the back.
-
What are 'open' edition and 'limited edition' prints?‘Open edition’ artworks are ones that have no limit to the amount of times they are printed and sold. For this reason they are more affordable as they are readily available and won’t ever sell out. 'Limited Edition' artworks have a limit of the amount of times they are printed which makes them more special. These artworks are signed and editioned individually (1/20, 2/20, etc). Once the sell out, they won’t be released again in that size.
-
Are all original artworks available as prints? Not all original artworks are available as prints. When an original piece is released, it is uncertain whether it will later be available as a limited edition print. This is generally decided at a later time. It's important to note that commission pieces, which are custom-made artworks tailored to specific client requirements, will never be reproduced as prints. This ensures the uniqueness and exclusivity of each commission piece.
